Our HI-AI Tool
For over 30 years, our firm has been conducting research and development into automated translation. We have developed our own AI-powered translation system, which currently delivers highly conclusive human-quality results in four areas: Legal and accounting, Aeronautical, naval and railway engineering, E-learning and training, and Public service announcements. We are currently expanding our research and development efforts into other fields, including urban planning and architecture.
We only use our HI-AI tool when the volume of translations to be processed and the deadlines to be met make it absolutely necessary, always and only upon the client’s explicit request. However, as we are already structured to handle very large volumes of translations within very tight turnaround times, our human production capacity enables us to meet the objective, i.e. generate a large volume of translations within very tight deadlines.
We process more than 400 million words a year (across all languages, i.e. 26 languages and 53 aborignal dialects, primarily from English into French and from French into English) through our own wprkforce. We do not subcontract.
We strictly apply, for quality control and quality assurance purposes, the following standards: ISO 17100:2015, CAN-CGSB/131.10, ISO 9001 and EN 15038.
We ensure our clients’ data security and protection in accordance with the following data security standards and guidelines**:
- International Organization for Standardizations and International Electrotechnical Commission : Code of Practice for Information Security Controls Cloud Services (ISO/IEC 27017)
- Cloud Security Alliance – Cloud Controls Matrix (CSA-CCM) – CSA-STAR Attestation
- Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS)
- National Institute of Standards and Technology Special Publication 800-53 (NIST-SP 800-53) – Moderate
- Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program – Moderate Security Controls (FedRAMP-Mod)
- NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF 2.0)
- Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI): Cyber Security Self-Assessment Guidance – Maturity Score 3 (Canadian Standard)
